You replaced the intake manifold in 30 minutes?????????? no way????????
where did you put the map sensor? do you have any pics??
I said I "mapped" out his FAST, took a sharpie, marked where & how to cut for no firewall mod, where & how to drill for the new vacuum fitting & map sensor, what mat'l to take off for the port & explained & gave him hard copy pics w/ instruction on how to complete the mod. Instead of asking, like I tried to direct when I posted last night, for help. You fire back w/o reading the post. Good luck!
How's it going Mike? I guess this install definitely broke your cherry.
I'm sure when it's all done and you get a tune for it....major smile factor.
The FAST 90/92 on a C6 definitely needs the SPIN-FAST mod to be easily installed.
The SPIN modded FAST90/92 is the most complete FAST for install on our C6's and SPIN's attention to detail is the DIFFERENCE.
Phil one other thing Advanced dyno forgot to drill a hole in front for map sensor
no biggie
`
The hole in the front for the MAP sensor is 13/32 " for a nice tight fit.
The sensor will mount 90 degrees from the original OEM position. There is a picture of the spot on the original SPIN POST " FAST IS REALLY FAST DIAL UP WILL CRAWL. Be carefiul with the FITTING in the back ,
if its too close to the left side it will hit the oil sender. I referenced that issue in my thread.
UH Im a moron I taped everything off with painters tape to paint
the manifold I taped over all the holes and painted it I didnt think the hole was there (im stupid) couldnt even tell there was a hole there LOL!! So now the hole thats there do you retain the orange grommit?? or is that hole threaded for a fitting?? cant see too good manifold is installed hoses TB etc in the way?
Mike
PS
sorry Dallas lol

No leave the orange gromet on. Just push it in the hole (MAP SENSOR ).
How do you plan to mount the brake line fitting on the rear ? I presume the hole is alreadt there now ?
on my 07 the fitting at the rear was for 3/8 hose, the booster hose is 1/2, so while I had it of I replaced it with the proper one.
Make sure your clearance at the backwhere the mod was done is enough not to rub under acceleration or at cam lope.
I was able to install mine but when it was running it would hit.
I just removed what they put there and replaced it, thinned out the material on the manifold still leaving the line up lip and a counter sunk screw with a counter sunk area washer.
once the glue dries I'll install it, Sunday.

If this thing hits while im driving Im throwing this car in the trash !!
lol
The sensor is really hard to push in and with my sausage finger ( im a big dude) im afraid to break it, its hard to push in with all that crap in the way
Mike
Just took it for a test drive not too good Check engine light
But it does run. the check engine light is my fault I never disconnected the battery I just wanted to see if it would run.
Ill wait a half hour or so and reconnect the battery and post back
cross your fingers
Mike
It didnt run well at all with the check engine light, I hope thats why??? I have the predator III its wicked I am getting it protuned at Radical racing in atco they download it to your Predator also
email it to you so in case you erase it you still have a copy
I have it set to 465 horse tune and the LTFT are ajd. so is the A/F 12.67 at WOT. it shoud be some what decent unless I f ed something up.
going out to reconnect battery now
Reach out to someone whos done it, know one knows better the Guy (Spin) & I know how to do it as well from him. The manifold was neither designed for the LS2 or the C6 Corvette, so modifications have to be made. You are going to have a great deal of time & aggrevation until get the proper assitence. I mapped it out for another member today in my garage in 30 minutes.
Will be interested to see how you do, as our cars are quite similar performance wise! I still haven't gotten a FAST but it's my next mod I think.
Will you be posting up a thread? Please PM me if I miss your thread.
Hopefully it should turn out well. I need to get everything done before June 13th my tuner will be in town.
So, soon after that, I will have a thread w/ pics and such, time permitting of course. I`ll definelty let you know. Stilll will be running the stock cam and gears.
My car is ripping!! It pulls real hard. I wonder if my buddy JT is around? Id like to run his modded 08 Z06 at the track of course!
I have one problem, My tires with 28lbs of air ignite when I step on the gas!!!
1st, 2nd, and 3rd by the time I hit 3rd I have to get out of it!!!
Almost spin the car all the way around LOL
Mike
Thanks to SPIN he came in the middle of the night from N.Y. to
the rescue. With SPIN you get Talent & Talons the combo that will make you fly. There is no need for a tune now. Maybe a trip to the
Dyno to get some postings and a little for ST. JUDES.
