Spin used a slightly larger washer to hold down the fuel rail bracket and catch it between the corner of the Fast bolt hole on my install.

Default Saw this coming from a mile away!

This by no means a straight forward install, so you should of done more research b/f getting knee deep. The fuel rails aren't going to be a direct fit, & there are several options, along w/ a lot of options on the rest of the install as well.

That said, see Guys post "FASTintakemonster" to get started in the right direction. In order to get the proper assistence you need to explain EXACTLY what you have & EXACTLY what you want for finished product. Then people will be able to assist you. It's not rocket science, but there several ways to do it & you need to know how you want to proceed. This is not an install for everyone, so seek assistence, but provide the details up front & people will be better prepared to assist.

I try and upload the pic if I can figure it out

Mike, IIRC that is the MAP sensor and in the SPIN mod (which I highly recommend) it is located in the lower half of the intake in a new ( ? ) hole. You do need that sensor installed for engine to run correctly.

Mike, front of manifold offset pass. side from center & in the lower portion of intake manifold is new MAP location. I don't remember but I think a new hole was drilled by SPIN for the MAP in this area, not sure if the FAST 92 had this hole originally. Mine is there and by way of reference it is near the valley cover breather pipe.
Hang in there, the FAST 92 is a great torque booster!
Keep repeating...I Love my Vette, I Love to work on it.....
Joe

ps: the slightly larger washers do hold the fuel rail down with no problem.

I got the SPIN-FAST 92 modded, ported, painted and installed by SPIN himself. Very meticulous install, my kind of work, when I do it myself.
We then retuned and got a ton of torque low, mid and even top end increases are simply phenominal. My car was fast, now it's SPIN-FASTER!
Seriously, SPIN is worthy of all the accolades he receives here on CF. a great Guy.
I learned some new things from him to go along with my 40+ years of car knowledge, actually I've learned from a few people, Chuck, SPIN, Matt at Tune Time Perf. in NJ, all have been very nice to me in my dealings with them. THANKS, Guys. (sorry I rambled)
Mike if you need to call me I can forward cell # in the AM. I'll check PM's and posts Sat. AM.
You'll be fine.....

It isnt meant to go on an LS2. The fuel rail from an LS1 is a perfect fit.

Default Send PM to someone whos done it

Reach out to someone whos done it, know one knows better the Guy (Spin) & I know how to do it as well from him. The manifold was neither designed for the LS2 or the C6 Corvette, so modifications have to be made. You are going to have a great deal of time & aggrevation until get the proper assitence. I mapped it out for another member today in my garage in 30 minutes.

did you find the hose at the right rear of the manifold??
it has to be plugged, it went to the LS1 map sensor, if your manifold does not have the MAP sensor hole in the front you can take a 1/4 hose and hook it up to your MAP sensor by removing the seal ring.
did you do the rear mod to the firewall or the Manifold???
I just finished installing one and everything went well except the rear firewall mod done by Advance Dyno did not work, it hits the firewal and causes a vibration and noise, so I removed it and took pictures and fixed it, Dallas at Advance offered to fix it but shipping from Florida to california and a week lost was not an acceptable option so I followed Spinmonster's thread about the mod and it was easy.
Spinmonster has allways had the most informative threads, with pictures for those of us that are a little dense!!!!

Phil I plugged the one at the rear. Thanks for the info That sounds like the best option Ill just get the hose you wont see it with the covers on anyway. With all the research I did, I didnt see anything or hear anything about the the map sensor Ive had this Fast intake for at least 6 weeks now I knew it wouldnt be easy. It may be easy for the guys like Spin etc... that have done hundreds of them but as the average Joe goes its not easy by any stretch of the imagination!!!! espically the first time!
again thanks for your help
