Need advice from fellow forum. Got a lot great inputs in the past.
It's for my Daily Driver Truck (sorry if it's not a Vette, my Vette are running just great). It's a Silverado Pick Up, Year 2005 with 51,000 Miles. Recently I noticed coolant leak out, but it did not leak out when the truck is running, but more when it cooled down. The truck did not overheat. And after leak out certain amt, then it did not leak again.
But then when I added more coolant, it leak instantly (the truck is completely cool). Any suggestion?
Sounds like your over filling it. When cool the coolant level should be about an inch below the cap. It needs room to expand. If you fill it to the top it will expand out the overflow. If you have an overflow tank it should only be about half full. In that case the radiator should be filled to the top.
