Default Need Brakes...

So. I went to the track to the Vette Magic event in Sacramento, CA and I was stalling my car up to 2300+ and my vette kept creeping; my brakes wouldnt hold that much stalling and notice aswell when i was breaking on my way home, my steering wheel would shake so need some help in choosing a set of brakes. My Torque Converter is a 3500 and really want to stall it even higher not having my car creep up as I am.. any help.

Maybe you should install a Line Lock along with new rotors.

It sounds like there is something more fundamentally wrong with your brakes; mine are able to lock up all 4 tires consistently on a dry road at any speed. I've had ABS come up as fast as 120 miles an hour before and it was on a hot day with good tires.
I would check the pads to make sure they are not worn out or glazed, look at the rotors to check for glazing and bleed the system. Make sure the fluid has never boiled and isn't old either. It may also be beneficial to clean the rotors and pads with brake cleaner to ensure no oils are present.

Of course many here will be happy to assist you with ways you can spend more money on your brakes. But frankly the only time you should be upgrading your brake system is if you track the car agressively enough to overheat the stock system; for what you are doing there is absolutely no reason the brakes should not be able to hold the car still.

A line lock is a device that when activated by the driver applies only the front brakes so you dont have to power brake the car at the starting line. It works alot better and helps prevent creeping. There is alot of torque in these engines(you know that) and will your higher stall convertor its higher.Line Locks are pretty easy to install and are often used by Drag racers. Do a search there is alot of info on them here on this site.
Shimmys while braking is often caused by warped rotors. But dont take my word for it have them checked out.
