Default Need Help With Tire Pressure Sensor

Just had new goodyear eagle f1's put on the 05.. Now my tire pressure indicator on the dash says all the tires have to high of pressure. But when i push the button to see what the pressure is they are all at 41psi.. The tire dealer dosn't know squat and told me to take it to chevy to reset.. Is there anything I can do to remedy this.

Most tire dealers put too much air in to help seat the bead. Just let some air out until they have 30 psi and you should be good.

what should these tires have in them. I was told 41 from the dealer, but that seems high for these

30 psi on all four. It's on a sticker on the drivers door.

Keep in mind that the recommended inflation pressure on the door jamb is for a maximun weight vehicle. You can (and should) run less if the car isn't loaded to the max weight.

The maximum weight of my 2005 C6 is 3698 pounds and the factory spec's say it weighs 3245 pounds. Two passengers and a suitcase overload the C6.
