Default Question,,

What's the tallest front tire that will fit on a C6{stock front fenders}

I guess what you're worried about is issues with the ABS.

Your DR's will be just slightly more than 1 inch greater in diameter than a stock rear tire. I don't think that's enough to bother anything, but it might.

I certainly don't think you'd have any problem putting an approximately 1 inch greater diameter front tire on to maintain the ratio between front and rear to avoid ABS problems.

Butt....I don't think you'll have a problem running your DR's with stock size front tires.

I have a neighbor with a set up similar to yours. He's got an LS2 with a S/C and runs Mickey Thompsons on the rear (I think in the size you're talking about, and stock size up front). He hasn't had any problems at the track - except for getting kicked off when doing 10.91 with no cage!!

If you want to contact him his forum handle is "klancy kat", but I don't think he checks on too frequently. If you can't get him to respond to a PM let me know and I'll get his phone# if you want to see exactly what his tire set up is.

I just talked with Gary and he said he'd be glad to talk to you, and he may have already in the past.

He was out to dinner so I didn't want to bother him, but I briefly explained what you wanted to talk about. I believe he said that he thinks the 28" diameter may be too tall and really mess with your overall gear ratio, even with a 3.15 rear end. But, give him a call and see what he has to say. He's been doing a lot of drag racing lately so has some good experience to pass on.

PM sent with his cell#.
