Default Help, Service messages on DIC

I have a 05 MN6 with Z51 option and have been getting Service traction system, Service Antilock Brakes, and Service Active Handling messages on the DIC. I just got the car back from having a new fuel sensor and pump installed but do not think this is related to the problem in any way...at least to my knowledge i dont think the two sytems should be related.
So far, Ive got the message every time i get in the car the past few days. Does not seem like anything paticular causes it except ive noticed it seems like its activated when the speed reaches over 55mph. I can clear the messages but the ABS and traction control light are yellow. When i shut the car off and restart, the check engine light is still on but i do not get the service messages again until i hit 55mph.
Ive checked all the obvious parts and have not seen any problems except that the rear brake rotors are badly worn. Not sure if this could cause the problem, but i will be replacing them soon. Does anyone else have any thoughts or experiences with this problem? The warranty is gone on the car and ive had REALLY bad experiences with this car and the dealerships, so taking it to the dealer is my LAST resort.

there is a connector at the steering col that needs to be tightened. There is a TSB on it. It is an easy fix from what I remember. remove the knee bolster and finsd the connector and then zip tie it together.

Thanks, I am going to see if i can get the code tomorrow. I checked the connector at the steering colunm and made sure it was ok. Still have the check engine light and same problem though. Ive read a few threads about the steering sensor causing this, but my issue appears to be caused by somthin else with slightly diff symptoms.

Found problem...right front wheel sensor. Local Mechanic says he can not order only the sensor though...must get the bearing hub assembly that comes with the sensor. Is this True?

Default Update

OK, I replaced the wheel sensor and checked all the connections. Unfortunatley, I still get the same codes on the DIC when i get around 60mph.

I measured the resistance of both left and right sensors and both read about 1.1 kohm when not rotating. At this point i can only figure that the device that receives the signal can be the problem...only im not sure where it goes. Ive tried tracing the wiring harness but i loose it under the engine somewhere. I can see where the left connects to the right but thats it.

I might be going in the completley wrong direction, but im not sure where else to look. I measured the resistance: right versus left of the wire that the sensor plugs into and left measured 36 kohm while the right measures 48 kohm. Logically the two diff sides of the circuit should be identical.

As I said, i might be wayyyyy off in left field on this, but i could use some help from anyone that might have some knowledge about this.

Default DTC codes?

Is there an easy way to get the codes?
I think these are CAN bus codes (not OBDII) and the scanner is really expensive.
I am going to try the connector fix tomorrow.

I have an '08 with only 3600 miles on it and got those same DIC messages.

The dealer had to replace some wiring harness at the front wheel AND the ABS electronic control module. That fixed it.

I had someone read the codes a couple of weeks ago...all i know is it indicated a problem with the front right wheel sensor. Since then i replaced it but i still have the problem. I have not had time to get it scanned again...as soon as i get a chance i will post the exact code numbers here.

Not sure it means anything....but before i changed the front sensor and bearing assembly the error would show around 55mph...now its closer to 70.

Anyway...I know you can only assume things without the codes...so i will get those asap and post them here.

The connector fix looks like it has fixed my Traction Control code call out. It's been a week now with no errors. It used to show up everyrtime I started the car and pulled out of the driveway.

I have a stock 2005 C6 and I'm having a very similar problem. Since new this car has been to the dealership multiple times for computer issues. I keep having service traction control system and active handling system messages.

These are the codes coming up.

Multiple computer components have bee replaced on this car and it's still under warranty. The car has been taken to multiple dealerships but none have been able to locate any problem. They just clear the codes and around 500 to 1500 miles later the same codes and service messages return. The car is driven under normal conditions and not abused. Does anyone have any input or know of a good tuning shop that specializes in Corvettes in the North Carolina area that might be able to assist me.

you need to find a dealer that has a flight recorder module that they can plug in and let you drive until the issue comes up again.have you done any computor work to the car eg adjusted torque management
