The Corvette is now a true monster, and has a totally different feel to it than a forced induction car; it is much more linear and absolutely much more fun to drive. When I nail the Cobra, all hell suddenly breaks loose and it's every man for himself. At times I really believe the abundance of torque hinders instead of helps, as keeping the tires on the ground becomes really an artform. When I nail the Vette, I get a progressive accelleration that is constant and accurate throughout the gears. I feel that I can be very consistant with the Vette once getting used to the way it drives.

I really liked the car after driving it home from Kerbeck, but I really fell in love since returning home from Cartek. My hat is off to Max, Julian and the rest of the crew. They don't blow smoke, they help others make smoke.
Pete, just to put your mind at ease. I came up upon a 550rwhp Cobra that underestimated my 485rwhp/4.10 C6. Let's just say...I don't think you'll have a problem.

Actually, if I see what it does at the track it will be the final straw and I'll have to dump my ls1 for an ls2/ls3.
Think about aiming at the LS3. The heads flow so much better than the LS2. The original post in this thread was with the stock heads ! ! Lots of potential in the LS3.

Default Nice!

The car received a lot of attention at this evening's car show at Bear Mountain; especially when I rolled in with the pipes fully open. A lot of jaws dropped.

Oh yeah, that's a good pic of the Cartek modified catch can, someone was looking for a pic of that actually, I might show them this.

And damn, I have got to clean under my hood.
