07 convertible, 3LT. I have had classic dead battery problems due to low mileage driving. New Optima coming. In the meantime, even after charging old battery to its max capacity, the drivers window and power top won't operate. Trunk release and pass window operate OK. I can hear a slight noise inside door as I operate the window switch but no movement of glass. Power top does not respond at all. Battery has been disconnected a couple times for a short period to see if anything would reset. I understand from the manual that these are run thru auto resetting circuit breakers, not fuses. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
Depending on how bad the battery was drained, it may not come back becasue the active material on the plates sulphates.
Yes, I'm sure the battery is toast, just opening the door triggers my auto charger to come on. I'm going to put a yellow top in and see what happens, just hope no mechanical problem with window regulator or something.
