You will notice a little stiffer ride in the rear and a tiny bit more rear wheel hop over very rough patches of road. Most feel the mild compromise is well worth it.

Any differences from the Z-51 sway bars to hotchkis or other makes. i.e. are the Z-51 bars as good as aftermarket???

Aftermarket are adjustable but more expensive.

I just installed mine today with the Pdaft poly bushings. I recieved them yesterday from Gene. I was surprised how much larger the rear sway bar was. The stock ones are a joke. Car is MUCH better and lost that "floating" feeling.

It is a realy easy "do it yourself" takes less than an hour. Cant wait to try it on some real twisty roads. Not too many here in the Phoenix area...I plan on heading up to the mountains Saturday.

Bottom Lines:
Without the Z51 sways, the car "let go" or leaned/listed over 0.6Gs of lateral force.
With the Z51 sways, it just stays nice and flat in the corners.

Highly recommend this mod!
I did it to my base 08
nice improvement, Now I'm going z-51 shocks.

Don't do that......Not when a lot of Z51 owners report a big improvement by going with Bilsteins.
The price difference new is only about $30/set

Iinstalled Z-51 sway bars on my F-55 equipped car and am very happy with the results. Handling improved noticebly, the steering seemed tighter but the ride remained basically the same, maybe a bit stiffer. All in all a worthwhile improvement.
