Hi,

Not a stupid question, all question are good to ask if the intent is good: the answer can be stupid though sometimes

Anyway yes, as of 2006 I believe, all vehicles having Xeon lamps (HID) have to have washer systems within the European Community.

Just as in the United States of America, the various protagonists of the European Union enforce the law and regulations more or less stringently.

In France, this is enforced and checked and it is defined by European regulations ECE R48.

The diagram shows the washer access door (part 2) as being part of the front fascia. Do you have cut the fadscia to accomodate these?? Something I sure would have a tough time doing...

Good Evening,

I apologize if you feel that way. The first time you called, I answered and you said "hello hello" and I was talking and you didn't hear me, so I hung up. The second time you called, we were speaking and I was trying to let you know how I was going to handle it and we still had a connection problem. It is not my intention to upset or leave you with that impression.

What I was trying to tell you was, I couldn't work on your project at that given moment and when I got some free time I'd be happy to assist you. If you'd still like me to give you a hand, just let me know. I like to be involved in projects!

Thanks, Gene.

Oh, well in that case I sincerely apologize, it appears that I have clearly misunderstood you. I am really sorry about that.

Let me know when you have more time and when you get a new phone

Regards,

Cedric

Hmmmm. Headlight washers?? I think you need a skyhook to hold the piece up while you drive under it.

I have two options: drill a hole in the front fascia or get the Euro compliant fascia.

I have put this issue aside for now as my priority is to get everything working.

I will give the priority to drilling the holes because for the front fascia to be painted the same color as the car is going to be difficult ...

Speaking of European specs will you have to add the little light in the headlights that have to stay on in some parking areas? I know that European spec vettes have a little light inside the headlight lens.

Don't buy a new fascia. Keep an eye out for a used one in your color at places like this.

In the meantime you should be able to get everything together just don't install the nozzles until you absolutely have to.

American delivered C6's - at least my 2006 coupe which I just purchased and imported from the U.S. have functioning Daytime-Running-Lights, which are required here in Canada.

You can manually turn off the DRL's, but they default back on every time you start the engine...so you would need to turn them off each and every time....

Yes you are correct, the little light is compulsory.
