vararam install 08 pcv fitting question

Default vararam install 08 pcv fitting question
Gents, I am installing a vararam on my 08. All is well until I ran into the pcv fitting on the coupler that came with the Vararam. The factory fitting has a 30 degree angle in it that does not appear to fit the coupler. The directions say the pcv adapter will aceept the fitting but I do not see how.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I just got a rep on the phone. He said that they sent the wrong adapter and will send the correct one out in the morning and to tape off for the time being.
