Hi all,
I was playing w/ a Porsche on a twisty road over the weekend. We went into an off camber turn. He drifted wide I dove under him and broke very late trying to over take him through the turn. My unloaded wheels started to chatter. I didn’t have a chance to look down at the dash to see what lites came. Could someone tell me if it was my ABS or my Active Handling System that came on?
Thanks,
Mike

I assumed the chattering was occurring while the braking was happening.

sorry guys, I should have been clearer the chatter happened under braking but only on the unloaded wheels. It was a right hand turn off camber the inside or right side front and rear wheels started to chatter.

I've had a similar thing happen when pushing too hard in an autocross course, and I too didn't try to look at the DIC to see which system was working. Since it always happens while braking into an overcooked turn, I think it's either Active Handling or a combination of Active Handling with ABS at the same time.
