Yes, go get a Vette Magazine from I believe Sept or Oct. They did an article that showed us building a diff on a C6. In the article we showed installing an axle in that diff. You need to remove the diff from the car in order to do this. I would not recommend doing it yourself, but if you are very very mechanically inclined then you should fair ok. Just read the article and you will understand how to do it. You have to be very careful on your bolt torques, they have to be correct.
