Wait until someone mentions the different size X-pipe and modifications to the SC/IC piping. Then you'll see the

It's all in the post. Three items
1. primary to 1 7/8
2. 2 1/2 to 3 inch exhaust including x-pipe
3. 2 90 degree rubber elbows in the blower changed to alumium.

Car was fully tuned with both set-ups.

The test drive home was unreal the 50-140 is lighting quick
remember this is dyno'd on a mustang with 3.90's. Your looking 600 plus
with 3.42's on a regular 242 dyno jet!
I'm thrilled with it!
The mighty ZR-1 is in deep dodo in a straight line!

65rwhp and 77rwtq on just a header and x-pipe swap? I had a similar experience with a mustang with shorty headers. Switched to long tubes and gained quite a bit,my motor was choked up big time with the shorties.
Rock man had long tubes to begin with, if there is this much gain just by switching to 1 7/8's why hasn't anyone else picked up on this, including some big time tuners here..

Not to stir the pot rock man, I am just curious as to how you can gained so much?

You don't have to convince me. I know it's the aluminum elbows...

On a higher output blower motor, I have no doubt.

I am not trying to stir the pot, and I consider Rock'n'Blue08 a friend of mine; he helped me a lot with my install!
But for the sake of technical accuracy, I have to pont out that
Andy made 551 RWHP and 505 RWTQ on a bone stock, automatic LS3 on 91 Octane, and with No headers at all on the same kit using the same pulley, but a smaller blower
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-f...rger-pics.html

So while I'm sure this car gained SOME power, I still can't believe it was that much; I am convinced the original numbers were just too low to begin with...
But I hope you are right! I really do, because I already ordered those exact same headers
I will be doing a back to back comparison in about 2 weeks time as soon as they come back from JetHot Ceramic coating. Same car, same blower, same tune, same everything, dynoed back to back on the same dyno with my 1 3/4" headers and the with the ARH 1 7/8". My car already makes 597/518, so if it gains HALF of what Rock'n'08s gained I will eat my shoe.

I feel the same way the numbers were low, Yes, Then I see
547 with the same tune and same dyno. I say my cats were clogged
but the Kook's were brand new with only 5k miles. All I Know is
I had a big gain! Worth every penny

Blue and I are good friends..We did a muffler swap when he found out the 3"x pipe is shorter than a standard C6.. I had set of Z06mufflers, uncut, that I was about to put on. So I met him at a muffler shop and we swapped since his was set up for a C6. BUT I did put a high performance polish on those tips., so I think that is where the gain came from..
