Replacing the front spring
The '09 manual is not available and I have never worked on a Corvette before so I really do not want to take anything for granted.
It looks pretty simple, jack up the car, loosen the clamps to the frame and . . . then what happens?
Do the front Wheels need to be supported? How much spring tension will be released? Will the length of the clamp bolts be long enough to safely release any residual spring tension?
If I put it back to near the same ride height, it shouldn't affect the alignment much should it? Surely not enough that it wouldn't be safe to drive to get another alignment, huh?
Mark the adjustments cams with a black marker and you will get very close on the reassembly. Your going to have to get an alignment anyway..
I had not thought though about needing to remove an A arm for clearance. I guess I would have figures it out eventually but it sure is better to know going into it.
How did your swap go for you? You get what you were looking for?

When I bought the C6, I got the Z51 package and I really like it.
