Thanks. That is one of the only good pics of CCW's charcoal grey I've seen. Not too dark. My car is black so I'm thinking silver or black as I don't know that I can dedicate the time to the polished finish. I do like their polished finish wheels though. Hmmm.
San
Give them a call, they are first class at treating potential customers. They might steer you(pun intended) in the right direction.

Actually those wheels can also be "black chromed" since they're polished only. Another alternative, San, altho probably adds cost. I recall John said they could be a long time ago when I asked him.
Thanks Bill.
If I remember correctly it was $75 per wheel for the powder coating.
I was also on a budget when looking for wheels. I finally ended up paying a little more for a set of CCW wheels. When everything is considered they are the best buy.
I have been looking too and have decided on the BBS rims. The GT-RS in Diamond Black with polished lip. The whole rim clear coated. $4,500 though, two piece forged with Ti bolts. 21LBS front and 23.5 rear in C6 size rims. Have not check into the balancing though. From what I understand BBS is top quality. Check the weights of the cast stuff and your'll see the weight is a lot heavier, balancing can be a bigger problem too. This I have learned from past experience.
That's what I have also, but they are over his target.
I agree with the OP. I don't understand why there aren't more choices in the $2,000 - $2,500 price range. I loved the CCW's, but I was really **** about them and spent way too much time cleaning them. My neighbors kept asking me why I took them off the car so often
KBoltz and I are the ones that had great luck with OE Wheels in Sarasota. Mine were spun up prior to mounting and they were true and very near perfect balance with no tires on. My tire guy said they were as good as any he sees. I also saw the bad reviews and had some second thoughts, but as I recall, those were old complaints. If KBoltz and I count ... that makes it 2 for 2 that are very happy. If there are others that will step up with pro or con comments about them, that will help the OP make his decision. BTW, my non-calibrated arms could detect no weight difference between the new and old wheels. If they were significantly heavier, I think I'd have noticed because I was looking for it
If you want photos I will email them to you. There are some posted in the general section.
You might look at LG Motorsports World Challege Wheel, I bought a set for just under $2000.00 and they are a High Quality wheel! They are a Sponsoring Vendor. Check em out! I got the Polished Z06 style.
Thanks all! I like the CCW option, although still a little spendy. I forgot about the LG World Comp wheels. That's probably the way I'll go, in a nice comp grey.
Of course, I'm being laid-off in July, so these will be a present to myself for finding a new job. Otherwise, all four OEM wheels will be for sale with the car attached!
I purchased the LG Motorsports World Challenge wheels.
Regular price for a set of 4 is about $1700.
I purchased the chrome ones for another $900 ($2600 total).

Good humor there! Hopes for the new job.

Well I can tell you that they are significantly heavier (5 lbs rear/wheel)than stock and the sizes are not the same as stock so they will stick out slightly if you have a C6 that is stock. Some like the bulging look, however.

I am not questioning your integrity or knowledge, but I'd like to ask:
Which wheels did you buy from them? And how can you "tell" us?
I now wish that I had actually weighed them just so I would know. For plain old street use a few lbs doesn't make any huge impact. Racing, even ounces are counted. I also did non-RF tires which are lighter than RF's are. So total weight, if the new wheels are indeed heavier, may be about the same. The sizes I bought are 9.5x18 front with stock offset and 10x19 rear with +65 offset. That moves the outer edge of front and rear .5" further out. They DO NOT stick outside of the wheel well. They DO NOT "bulge"..... take a look at the photos.
