Default I need differential help!

I know that I'm going to change my rear diff, but how do I tell what gear ratio is in my car now. It's a base coup 3LT/M6. I need to know so I can determine what ratio I need. And BTW , when you drop the rear crossmember where do you diconnect the brake lines?

Thanks for the help in advance.....
Woodie.

All manual C6s have 3.42 gears. Your options are 3.73, 3.90, or 4.10. Your power levels and intended driving will determin which set is best for you. There is a lot of info available on here.

As for the brake lines, sorry I can't help you there.

You will disconnect the brake lines near the a-arms in the back where they are still hard lines. Ive dropped my entire rear end before if you would like any more advice please feel free to pm me.
