I've noticed lately when i trun the steering wheel I hear a poping noise that sosnd like uts frim the rack, It almost sounds like its binding. Anyone experirnce this??? Any TSB's for something like this??? I also get this really weird kind of thing going on,maybe related maybe not. When going slowly (parking lot, making U turn, etc...) it feels like the tires flat...or like the wheels buckling under. Maybe its normal with a run flats, which are new to me, but its kind of discerting. Anyone have any ideas???

I just had the power steering hose TSB done to my wifes car. It is for Z51 cars only. The symptoms are different though. If I was sitting in say, a parking lot, car in drive, not moving, and turn the steering wheel back and forth, it would make a loud groaning noise. It was like it didn't have enough steering pressure or the tires had too much grip. If it was in neutral/park it didn't do it. If it was on a slick surface, like the garage floor, or a wet surface, it didn't do it. The hose did fix the issue though.
Most likely the wide front tires grabbing and sticking on cold pavement. Happens to alot of us when pavement and tires are cold and turning sharply at slow speeds. Been discussed many times here over the years. Do a search. Dont be alarmed it will go away when it warms up.
I was getting the same sounds. GM said a seal failed and lost all the fluid. Car was good until a week or so ago now I am getting clunking sounds from under the car gm can't find anything wrong. I have not had a chance to check it out yet. Any ideas?
Just got my car back from the dealer yesterday for this and they found the sway bar links were "faulty" whatever that means. They replaced them and the noise is gone.
