Default Spin FAST installed pics

Spin, thank you for the fast turn around and this actually made much more power than I though it would. Probably due to the TEA heads (amazing flow) and the cam/bolt ons I already installed.

This is such an easy mod, anyone can do this. My hardest part was using a dremel to open up the inside of the Vararam spacer to match the FAST mouth when the throttle body was installed.

It sounds very wierd, I actually don't like the hallow/underwater sound while idleing. I can't really explain it. It does have smoother power delivery though and when WOT above 4K, it pulls almost like my KB Cobra did. Amazing. It is detonating a little so a tune will be asap. Anyway, enough bs so on with the pics.

Also - Thanks to HinsonSuperCars for the low price!

I guess I need a catch can

I couldn't leave it alone at all today! It's not detonating, its extra valve train noise that is amplified somehow with the intake when I am going WOT near certain buildings. I may take it back off and spray the loud thing with undercoating (to quiet it down). It drives me nuts so far. From a 45-50mph roll, it will downshift and actually spin the tires halfway though 2nd, from a 50 mph roll with KDW's and 80% thread! Cool as hell. Very similar to my KB Cobra, I am impressed.

Guys, get a FAST if you don't have one already, just expect a bit of wierd noise.

I agree, TEA does a hell of a job on an LS2/LS6 heads. The FAST just made the car.

You need a breather can, not a catch can. No oil should be allowed to return to the intake tract. I have no return and it doesnt use any oil between changes....so much for the ring blow by theory.

After the 1st 3k with a breather can, I had the heads off with no carbon build-up like an LS engine has with the oil returns. Vent it to atmospere and forget about the catch cans that dont work.

Anybody here running a PowrMAF 102mm MAF on an LS2? I'm thinking of grabbing one and a set of rockers before the tune.

What changes need to be done to the FAST 90 intake on a C6 so that it fits properly?

I've done a FAST on a C5 but not yet done one on a C6. Are there changes that need to be made to accomatate the fire wall?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure Spin can modify the FAST to fit the C6 and eliminate cutting the firewall.

Can some post a pic of the breather can? Does it go where the oil cap is?

What Spin is referring to looks much like a catch can but has a breather on top.

Moroso makes one.

I was wondering when anyone would notice that. I spoke to them a few times and they had a new cut for them. I told him I would post them as much as possible. Only $1K too but I had my own springs.

the inputs come from the PCV and where? I am planning on capping the side of the FAST as that doesnt seem to serve a purpose for vac of anything.

I already have a breather on the valve cover hard line.
