Default Which wideband?

I want to check my AFR at the track and on the street and was wondering which is the best wideband to buy? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Andrew

You might get more help in the F/I section. More guys use W/B there.

Depends how many bells and whistles you want.
NGK is a pretty good one.
The Innovate hard mounts can be... lets say fussy.

The NGK AFX Wideband is really nice. In our experience, it has produced the most accurate and consistent results over time.

I researched this topic thoroughly. As Hinson states...the NGK AFX is a great choice.

We've used the NGK for a long time. As Seth says, it is a great piece for a reasonable price.

The article you refer to was apparently a very poorly done test (from a scientific perspective). I.e. the consensus is that that particular article should be ignored.

Regarding the upgraded sensor, the vendor I spoke with (when buying mine) said that to be honest, although the upgraded sensor was technically more accurate the difference between the two was not significant enough for your average user.

Innovate LC-1 is all I use. Pair with a DB gauge or XD-16 gauge(a bit overkill). The thing with Innovate is they need a good power source, which is where alot of people dont install it right. They tap any old 12v source and if its not clean, the sensor doesnt like it. I haven't installed one in a vette yet so I cant tell you exactly where to tap into it. It also uses replacement bosch sensors from any autoparts store.

I use the PLX Devices WBO2 and works great. It is much simpler and easier to use than the LC-1, which I had. The D.A Converters in the LC-1 are very sensitive and had mine replaced twice.

The PLX would be me other choice.

I've been wiring crap for 20 years. There are certain LCs that just don't work. In fact I have one on my coffee table right now. I hate the things.

I ran an LM in my car hard wired and it was great. Its just bulky to be using full time.

Yes, they all can be used with HP or other tuners.
