Default What's it worth....

Say I wanted to swap out my entire drive train. Engine, back, and replace it with a custom "built" set up.

Realistically, what is it worth, and what would a new, built 427(ish), with built tranny & diff run. My existing 05 LS2 LPE H/C Ported TB & Intake, Long tubes, Bullets, B&M Short Throw with 9500 miles. I'm not sure if I would include the blower kit, or save it for the new build...

I understand that the new set-up options are limitless, but I'm talking about a bullet-proof 750-900 WHP complete drive train with no drivability issues. F.I. is a must....

Would it be of more benefit to me to sell my existing set-up to a private buyer, or try to work a deal with a builder?

Keith

I know, I know, I've got it BAD!

What is the problem here fellas?

If I wanted to sell the entire drive train to replace it with bullet proof parts, what could I get for my existing set up???

Help a brother out!

Too many variables buddy.

Start with a 413+ Stroker and just start fixing what breaks.

Rear, axles, clutch and trans.

Set aside $25K and you'll be good.

Hey Keith,
I sold my 05 LS2 on E-bay along with the P series Procharger. Jeremy from Horsepower Sales sold it for me using his account and I used that money towards my new forged LS7 build and F1A Procharger. The crate that the LS7 came in was used to ship out the LS2 to the winner. It was worth the fees for me as a few people were bidding on it and went up a couple of hundred.
If you have any questions let me know, Charlie

I think you need counseling you just got finished maybe a week ago with a cool system

Im just gonna throw some figures out there. All your used stuff except the blower in the lower 48 less than $10k, no clue in Hawaii

Brand new not used stuff im going to say 1000rwhp cause 750-900 will not be enough--you have it realllly bad....
most tuner shops here in texas installed $40k on up, maybe $50k up for warhawk or LSX 440
1000 whp drive shaft, RPM stage 5 with all the stuff, built rear diff, steel bell housing, aftermarket motormounts-tranny mounts, fuel/meth/injector system, it goes on and on and.....
Just something to think about Keith, maybe add 25 to 30% for misc.

your not gonna be able to use most of the Blower kit you just got installed, need an upgraded blower ysi, 8 or 10 rib system, upgraded IC, etc. or you might want turbo instead

2 other things, if you want to go fast off the line get a solid axle rear end, If you want to go top end speed, come to the Texas Mile, its fun

I'd buy a forged LS3 from RPM motors for $3500, do a mild porting on the heads for another $1000 and drop that combo in with an 8 rib drive, a blower cam, and a meth injection kit. At that point you would want to upgrade to a bigger blower (another $1200).
With the right blower you could be looking at high 700WHP. At that point you will have something you can't use most of the time anyways, so I'd call it good... It gets exponentially more expensive after you break past the mid to high 700ish WHP range...
