Can anyone tell me how to get a DVD to play on the stock Nav system in the 2008 Corvette?

You can't. It does not work with movies. Yes it does say DVD, but it is for the nav disk only.

Not to stomp on the thread, by chance does anyone know if it is possible to upload your own image instead of having the " Corvette " splash during power up?

I recall seeing that it has been done, but I don't know how. I also recall that there was an outfit somewhere - NY I believe - that would modify the Nav to play a DVD movie.
