I think I've narrowed my choices for an after market exhaust between the SLP Powerflo and the Loudmouth II. I think the stock unit on my 2009 is too quiet, so I'm looking for something louder, but not too loud. Is the Powerflo noticably louder than stock? I've been told the Loudmouth II is much louder than the Powerflo; correct? Appreciate any advice.
I said to do headers INSTEAD so that he can get gains in power too. I agree that both will make the car ALOT louder. Exhaust = sound yes and power no . Headers= sound and power.. com'n-a-yeeyha!
After I installed my Kooks Headers I swapped out my NPP for a Corsa Touring.
Problem was that when you start the car these is no vacuum so the NPP valves are open. Makes a hell of a racket for 2-3 seconds while the vacuum builds. Not good if you need to sneak out at 4am !!
Headers and you could do mod/drill the stock mufflers for free http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...ffler-mod.html. Best performance/sound combo I have heard in clips online. But if you want to drop the extra ~$1000 you could still do the axle-back. If that's the case I would think the LoudmouthII is better if just for how lame the powerflo tips are.
