To a great extent form follows function. A wing creates aerodynamic grip for a car on a race track...it serves a purpose. A large, racing wing on a street car for all practical purposes does nothing...it's pure rice. You may like the look but IMO it's just wrong. That said it's your car...if you like the look go for it!

The very popular APR carbon fiber wing functions as an inverted air plane wing. It doesn't simply deflect air flow to push the car down it creates aerodynamic grip by, in effect, pulling the car down.
Take a look at my A P R GT II wing. For the street, it just causes drag but I can assure you on the track it creates huge downforce on the rear end.
I would not recommend this unless you also use a splitter or Cannards on the front of the car or you will create a lighter front end and a pushing problem with the handling.
I can get up to 1.4 lateral g's out of my car partially due to the wing.
