No Dyno but...
For some reason I feel like my car is faster after installing the Z06 mufflers... this is after having had the b&b bullets on for a couple of months.
It seems to break the the tires loose on 2nd to 3rd shift more than with the bullets.
Could this be or am I loosing my mind
??

Yep, I took it to the track last night and its official.... its faster!!!! shaved off .053
I didnt have my lab coat checking all the wind, weather, etc. but everything seemed exactly the same here in Miami.. I may have even sucked in some bugs with my Vararam

Best time before:
MPH:90.8
ET: 8.013
No 60ft time(tracks timer is always messed up).
At the very least it was not slower....

I Found this odd as well especialy since I felt a power increase when I had only the bullets on my car.
But I have the time slips to prove it. IF it was one of the variables such as temp by 1 or 2 degrees tops cooler etc.. (elevation didn't cahnge) Im at least not slower.
If Im missing something in my comparo please someone step in.. If I have more HP sitting in a box, I would like to use them.
Could I need a tune to get those ponies? My car was tuned with the exhaust on and the headers came later.
Someone help me put them 18horses (claimed by B&B) to work for "the cause"!

When I changed to the Z06 exhaust my numbers were equally as odd. While my ET did not improve, I gained almost 2 MPH in the eight mile running the 1/8 mile. Unfortunately, traction became more of a problem.
My 1/4 mile ET improved from 12.44 to 12.40. Now if I had only taken the time to have the car tuned I am sure it would have recorded a better time.

When you put it that way it sounds nutsBUT what I said as far as feeling faster was because it was quiter it felt like it took less effort to accelerate.
But something interesting is people with gears.. they say it feels faster like wow but have only reported a .1 on the 1/4
