Hard pedal, even fleeting, can be a sign the master cylinder seals are under duress from corrupt fluid. You want to deal with that quickly before the seals are damaged permanently. Seal damage often leads to missed shifts and consequential tranny damage.
Usually you can resolve your symptom by rigorously cleaning up the clutch fluid.

That's an ongoing maintenance task, not a one-shot cure. The more so if your car is driven aggressively.

Ranger, Thank you for the response to my question. I do the fluid change fairly regularly b/c I do drive hard. Are you suggesting 1,2,3 times in the week or so. It is possibly still under warrantee. I have and extended GMPP Major. How do I explain (verbage) to the dealer? Same way.
TIA

David, suggest inspecting the clutch fluid. If it's not clear and clean, make it that way.
If you drive the car aggressively, clutch dust accumulates quickly. Color is the tell. Always do the inspection just after the car has been driven. Once you stop, the particulate begins to settle out.
So change the fluid frequently enough to keep the its color nearly clear. Do that and see if your symptoms are resolved.
Will do and instead of the dealer Wednesday I'll go next week. I will keep it crystal for the next week and see if the condition stops. I am a little worried about the seals you mentioned. The pedel feels sticky , like not sliding smoothly.
