Default Options Menu Problem

When I push the "Options" button I get a message that says, "Options not available." When I pushed it this morning it shut the engine off. Any ideas on what's wrong?
Thanks

From the Owner Manual, this may help:
OPTIONS UNAVAILABLE
This message displays for a few seconds if a keyless
access transmitter that is not labelled 1 or 2 is used
and you try to personalize the features on the vehicle
by pressing the OPTION button. The personalization
system will not recognize the transmitter and the DIC
will not display the current driver number or the menus
used to set personalizations. The personalization
features will then be set to the default states.

I agree. You are using a FOB that was programmed after the primary #1 and #2 FOB's were programmed to the car.

Thanks for your reply. I've had the car for over a year and the options menu always worked before with the 2 fobs that came with the car. The Options not Available just started showing up this week. Maybe the battery in the fob is low. I'll replace it this weekend and see what happens.
Thanks again.
