like i said before Vararam is king, you cant blame it if you cant install it right
Really? You honestly typed that out with sincerity? For real?

:

Funny guy you are!!!!!!

The Vajunk is KING, for the opportunity of dirt ingestion in your motor! Nothing else poses as great a risk.

Just as an update... my intake was buckled a little, I called Vararam, & spoke to Steve.. he said "No Problem' & they would send me the newer version with the new tape to seal it...

I'll for sure let you guys know how it fits and works... my old one was NOT a piece of junk!! I think it was not "stiff enough" that problem should be taken care of with the new one...

Thank you Steve & Vararam..

I also have an 05...if the person who did the install don't do it correctly ..yes you will have problems....

& YES mine did have a small bend on the plastic where the upper & lower connect.. however they "VARARAM" said I will have a NEW STIFFER part in a week...

I have no reason to not believe them...Yes its more work to clean the filter than to clean a stock air filter... but that goes with almost all mods...

For any part you buy to GAIN performance you have to "Give" up something... Nothing is FREE!

is it warped , does it have top bottom and side seals did you put it in and out as a unit and is the front tabs hooked in the grill as this hanging contributes to warpingand what doesn't fit correctly

Default Vararam Proof is in the pudding!

Well I dont want to argue with anyone but if you look at the guys on the fast list, the ones at the top especially the boltons list which is the best comparison because 99% of the parts are the same (Cam Heads etc) The fastest guys all have Vararam! Thats all the proof I need!!!

It has all the seals top bottom and side. I epoxyed them as well. I installed the unit as a whole making sure the holes were lined up and nothing was hanging. I have the new top so warping is not my issue but the top and bottom dont mate together. I check on it almost everytime I drive the car because I open the hood afterwards to let the heat out and about 99% of the time it has lost its seal again. Even after epoxying the seals in I checked it and so much dirt had rammed its way in between the seal and the unit that they just fell out AGAIN. I want to reinstall another set of seals but at the same time what is the point if they are just gonna freaking fall out again.

read the vararam is a piece of junk thread. I started it and there are countless replies of people that have had problems. Ive had both versions the old and the new and "improved" and they have both had sealing problems. I know that the intake produces results but the risk of injesting who knows what is very high. Im not trying to argue the effectivness of the unit at producing power but the quality is extremely poor and the risk for engine damage is very high. If that is a trade off your willing to take then the vararam is the right piece of equipment for you. Im personally done with mine. Im getting rid of it. I even put in my sale thread that they have sealing issues and people still want it. Im just amazed.

So many comedian's in this thread I had to check my url to make sure it didn't say comic relief!

Did you really ask that? Okay let me focus....yep..yep you did....hysterical.

Maybe try reading the link I provided. Maybe try getting all "your facts", and "proof" in order. Maybe try doing a search as well and look at the countless pictures of Vajunks since there are so many threads on them.

I didn't read if you have owned one or not Griffee?

c6 batmobile, it seems like you are not connected up in the front possibly from your description.
As Dennis mentioned, the front of the unit has to be resting on the top of the two tabs under the front grill.

My Vararam is very solid when put together in or out of the car.

PM me if you want to, I would be happy to call you and compare notes with you if you would like.

Yes, sure did...sold it for $25. The fellow that bought it was kind enough to tip me and bring the sale up to $40.
