Tuned with headers
Had my '08 A6 Z51 Vert with NPP tuned today after a LT install and got 400.66 HP and 401.85 TQ. The tuner said they were good numbers for an A6 with headers only, but, since I didn't do a stock base run, I'm not sure.
Anyone know what a stock LS3 with an A6 puts down?

I had those numbers with just a tune. O8 MN6. Ya I know different set up but thought you might like the information. After headers I was up around 422 both hp&TQ. Dynajet.

Don't remember the torque, but my stock '08 A6 vert did 376 earlier this year.

I have an 08 M6. 390/380 were my stock numbers. I am not really sure how much difference there is between auto and manual cars on the dyno. I am sure someone will know.

Most of the auto cars will make about 350-360 rwhp, manual cars make 385-395 rwhp bone stock.
400 is a pretty strong number for a A6 car with headers and a tune. One of the last A6 cars we did with that same setup was just under 400rwhp.
That was stock compared to after.
By comparison, this is the same setup with a manual transmission car.

Are you refering to LS2 or LS3 A6s? According to what others have posted my 376 seems to be pretty much par for the course for a stock LS3 A6.

since you didnt do a base run you just wont know for sure.
different dynos read differently so you cant really compare to other dynos.
you can always install the stock exhaust and tune and redyno the car
hehe

Anthony is talking about the LS3. Stock LS2 A6s don't make near those numbers.

Exactly...a A6 LS2 car typically would make 330-345 rwhp bone stock.
