After reading this and the FI board, it seems Superchargers give you top end power, mostly in 4.5k and up. What's the best way for boosting power in the lower RPMs; power that is very useful for city driving or at freeway speeds of 60 mph where RPMs are usually low, around 2k if not lower. I have Z51 gearing so 5th and 6th are rarely seen.

Thanks in advance for helpful explanations.
GEARS GEARS GEARS!!! 4.10 gears will cost you less than 1/3 the supercharger build price. It will give you a huge boost in 0-60mph and .3 tenths on the 1/4 mile..
Say bye bye to low end gremlins..

I had a feeling the magnacharger would be the way to go. Greenman, next time you're down this way can you give me ride?
I'm a little leery of gear changes on how they may impact freeway travel on long trips. I have 4:10 in my truck and it keeps the engine at high rpms. If it wasn't for the truck having OD, it'd blow up trying to do 70.

A lot of this is going to depend on what your budget is for the build. There is a big gap between gears and a blower.
The MagnaCharger does a great job of building low and mid range boost, especially the new TVS design. How else do you think that little 4.6L Mustang Cobra engine feels like a big block? I would stay away from the centrifugal units like ProCharger or Vortec. While they make excellent power, it does work similar to a turbo and it takes RPM for them to make a lot of boost.
Cam, or a Cam and Heads package would also be a good thing to look into as well, again depending on what you are looking for, or just how big you want to go.
As always, I'm more than happy to go over one on one with you any different options you may want to do.
Cost is what keep most from getting the TVS. Take the cost of the TVS kit and double it to get a rough idea what it will cost, maybe a little more. In addition to the kit, there is labor cost unless you install it yourself like I did, but that also has additional costs for tools and parts. I would recommend a widebody kit to get 345's in the rear, even with the 345's it is hard to get traction. Going to need and supercharger tune, more involved than a regular tune. Also a new hood and paint.
If considering gears, PM tom (tomurphjr), I think he has 3.42's.
Head/Cam, can't go wrong with that either, that is on my list after drive train upgrade.
Once you start these upgrades, might just as well commit to upgrading everything.
cheap money --GEARS!!!
more expensive-- gears and heads only(keep intake speeds high and bump cr)
most expensive --root or pos disp blower
I would not change out the OEM cam if low end is the most important parameter. Most of the dyno graphs I see do not improve low end perf much if at all. I AM CALLING LOW END IDLE TO 2200 RPMS--LOW LOW LOW BABY Are you more interested in the power or increased throttle response? Kind of related but different animals too. After all, gears do not make power but get you to or keep you more toward the sweet spot in the rpm range where torque is coming on.
TVS 2300 from a reputable forum tuner like LPE( who incidentally has done about 400+ Maggie installs) & has been doing the TVS 2300 install in vettes & the new Camaro for about 5 months or more & have done a bunch of them. RELIABLE awesome right now full torque especially down low & the mid range. Gears are fun too, but nothing like a Maggie to put a smile on your face.
