Hi guys, i want to ask you about the rear diffuser for the c6 << when i pass 270 km in my c6 the car keeps going left and right (no stability) because of the turbulence under the car , i found a diffuser but i duno if this would work , here is the link : http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette...-166-9048.html
At 167-170 mph the C6 vette is stable. at least mine stock was. higher than that I cant say cause I upgraded stuff after that.
there could be a cross wind.
as previous poster asked if you adjusted the ride height and did not leave the "rake" that could affect things
you could need an alignment
what about tires. do they have more than 20,000 miles on them 32,000 kilometers?
rather than a diffuser I would suggest either Bilstein or Koni shocks and an upgrade to the sway bars.
Then nothing has changed that would affect the handling unless you now have a problem with your car. Maybe your tires are not properly inflated, you have a damged tire or wheel or maybe your alignment got messed up.

there is nothing with the car, i have 2 of my friends ( one own a cammed zo6 and the other strocked ls2) both of them having the same problem, many guys adviced to go with the diffuser as it do lower the turbluence under the car
The mods you did would have no affect on the handling at any speed you were traveling at before unless you are getting tire spin at the high speed which I doubt. If you want higher track speeds and you play with the aerodynamics of the car make sure you look at the whole package, not just a rear diffuser. You might want to add a front splitter and side skirts plus a full on race wing for the back.
For a diffuser to really work the rest of the belly pan has to promote the air flow to it. The bottom cannot be totally smooth as the air will pull away from it and cause lift also. There needs to be tumbling surfaces that help the air stream re attach over and over so it makes it to the diffuser. Those add on blades will do nothing, you would need a complete package to be worth your time.
I also agree with those above that question your alignment and or rake front to rear as a possible solution.
