Does anyone know what has to come off the front of the car to take the cam out?
No it isn't necessary, all you need to do is to remove the radiator and the AC condenser. That is once you get the steering rack out and the front of the motor disassembled.

Thanks! I guess I will out source the job if I buy the parts.
In your 20's, you will do anything
In your 30's, most jobs aren't bad
In your 40's, you wonder why you are doing it
In your 50's, you ask how much does it cost.

Thinking, but I just bought a BBK kit and several large carbon fiber parts and I think my wife has seen enough big boxes showing up to start asking questions.
The issue is do I want to open the motor up since I still have 2 years left on the warranty that GM gave in our court settlement.

I dont know of anyone that had used the kit but tons of guys here use the heads and they are awesome. I would like to know the cam specs before installing it though. Be aware also that the 550hp is fly wheel rated and not rwhp. You will probably end up around 470-480 or so.
