Default wheel size question

what would be a good wheel size set up for race/street look. perfer something monoblock. race wheels. but can be drivin for street use as well. all for a c6 z06

18/18

18/19

19/19

19/20

20/20 (this is jus sex, not for race at all)

so it has to be one of the first four.

18/18 will probably give you the best tire selection and prices.

Virtually all serious Corvette road racers I know (including myself) use 18" wheels all-around. Not only do you have a greater selection of tires/prices to choose from (as mentioned) but using 18's all-around lends itself to a more level setup of the car.

Even the Corvette Racing C6.R's use 18's all-around and they're probably not too worried about tire prices or selection. Tire manufacturers would probably make them anything they wanted.

Wayne O is right. 18s all around. I have no idea why your wheels in the back are only half an inch wider than a C6. C6 Z06 stock rear wheels are 19X12. C6 Z06 front wheels are 18X9.5.

20 inch wheels give you a hard-on? or you want to have sex with a 20 in wheel? I never thought about auto parts that way.... well I guess to each his own

Your first post refers to a C6 Z06. Another post refers to "Z". This ain't the physic network and Miss Cleo doesn't work here. Many here take "Z" to mean Z06. Way too many "Z" models out there that transcend beyond cars, so make it clear what you're referring to.

I fixed it for you (mostly). Your incomplete thoughts aren't technically sentences. Grammar isn't rocket science to most.

350Z. 500+ pounds heavy and 100+ horsepower short IMHO.

I went with 295/18 all around on my C6 and put mine on the track for HPDE and also use it for street. I also know about 10 others that are running their Vets in TTU/ST1/ST2 and other Time Trial events and all of them run 18's all around. All of them have 295 front and most have 335 rear which lends to a set-up that will not promote an under or over steer.

For a tire right now that is both track and road the Nitto NT05 seems to be a choice for a good blend of both. It is a little noisy but the Supercar is also noisy after 3K.

295/30/18 front and 335/30/18 rear Toyo R888s is what I'm running.

Nice set-up.

IMO that is the way to go if you are going to take it to the TRACK

I like to keep my options open. Sorting out the handling/suspension/braking and power mods are up next, unless I buy a literbike.

wow oldman, watchout grammer police. u think i actually care?

and before u start disrespecting me and my car. im actually only at 3180lbs and know that i can take u on ANY coner. power isnt everything. maybe for an oldman the straight away is the only driving skill u have. while im a better all-around driver who can truly control his car. driving in a straight line is easy....

My wheels and tires are wider and my weight is lower. It's called reality.

Troll elsewhere.
