Default Traction Control Question

I have a 2006 and would like to know if you can program the new launch control system on an older model C6. I believe all the needed hardware is there, ABS system & Traction control system, but can you program the computer system to achieve launch control?

According to one member it has been added to a 2010 model that did not come with it. He has not disclosed how he did it. It appears the 2010s come with a configuration that will allow for it. Previous years do not. Perhaps someone will figure it out but as of yet I have not seen it.

Thanks for the info. After I started this thread, I researced some prior threads for an answear, but I never saw a definate answear and the thread turned into a debate about driving skills and learning how to launch your car properly. I have gotten my 60 foot times down to 1.90's on run flats, but have always worried about breaking the differential and transmission if I slick it up. The only reason GM added launch control was to save the drivetrain from damage causing excessive warranty claims
