After reading thru some threads i decided to tear into my 09 LS3 and do some porting. Kinda suprised at the amount of oil in the intake so much the throttle body leaked, lol. Pretty easy to tear down and get the 3 braces drilled out (aboit an hour). Now for the fun porting part, i think i know why the Fast is working so much better, its gotta be tuned better then the stocker. All The runner's the same length? Is it me or does that seem off? Anyway tooks some photos. Spin if you have any thots i would love to hear them. Be safe, paul the braces that get cut out Braces All gone just need to clean it up a bit and Seal up the holes Time to port,,,,i wish i had patience
Are you running a catch can? I pulled my 08's manifold for a Spin-port last winter, and had no wet oil, just a sticky residue..Car had 6,000 miles on it with a catch can installed for 5500 of those miles. I'm using a Mike Norris can, and I know it's not getting 100% of the oil vapor, it is better than nothing..Good luck with the port job..
Did a bit more porting to this just trying to show the deck, the Throttle body and intake I went pretty conservative and I'm sure Spins are waaay better. But the first drive I noticed a bit more snap on take off

I agree, a lot more responsive to throttle input. It was worth the time and money..Yours looks good...
you went a little farther in then i could get it looks like, also the T-body look like you took more time and opened it up a bit more. I'm probably splitting hairs here to get a few more pony's but you sure did a nice job and if i had more patience i woudl have done more. I will do more on the throttle body i bet once the snow sets in. Nice post, paul
