brakeperformance.com rotors
I got a set of these in today. I went with the slotted and dimpled set, and ceramic pads for my '08. They look like a really good product. I'll get them installed this week, and upload a few pics.

Looking forward to seeing how these look and operate with your ceramic pads. I am considering these to replace my Z-51 rotors. I am tired of looking at the rust on the inside part of the hubs. The zinc treatment on these rotors should prevent, or at least slow down the rust.

Never heard of 'em.
Their site looks pretty good though and prices are decent. The dimpled rotors are sold out already...mind mentioning a ballpark price?
I'd definitely love to hear more on how they perform.

They were around $400 for 4 rotors and 4 sets of their ceramic pads. I got the fronts on last night, and I'm about to go do the rears. I had planned on painting the calipers red, but I think I'll just get them powder coated later on. I'll add some SS brake lines at that time too......any recommendations on which lines to get?

I got them all installed, and went out and did their recommended break-in. Didn't do any hard stops, but with normal driving they're smooth and feel right. The stock rotors would shake and shudder enough to be annoying, and I think I've eliminated that.

The rotors look great. Thanks for posting the pictures and comments about how the brakes perform with the rotors. As you indicated in your earlier post, powder coating the calipers and brackets would also look very nice. I had mine powder coated red. What was the recommended break-in procedure for the rotors and pads? Thanks again.

Break-in procedure was easy-moderate braking from 45mph-5mph, repeated 5-6 times, then normal braking (try avoiding hard stops) for 50 or so miles. Basically just removing the black coating with the initial 45-5 run, then bedding the pads to the rotors with a heat/cool cycle with the rest of the 45-5 runs. The black coating remains in the dimples and slots for a nice contrast.

Please keep us posted on how these wear. I am particularly interested in that dimple pattern that I see.

Are there any slots in the rear rotors or are they just dimpled? Can't see any slots in the pictures.

soooo.... they "dimpled" them to look like drilled and charged you near what you would have paid for something really good like DBA 4000 series slotted.

CMY_SIX is right, the dimpled idea is pretty lame, it reduces the braking surface without adding any ventilation value, so do they charge more for it? Higher performance rotors would be DBA4k's, slotted over drilled, plain is best of all. On race cars, how many use slotted or drilled rotors?

I've had these before on all 4 corners. I had the dimpled and slotted. They wear fine just like any other rotor.
The only thing I didn't like was the noise the dimpled rotors made. They sounded like when you put playing cards on bicycle spokes but not as loud. Very irritating. I eventually got used to it though and didn't notice it after a year.
If you're going to get some, I'd say get the slotted or drilled.
