I'm still confused on what headers to use for my 07? car is tuned, aftermarket exhaust(calloway), intake. Used for crusing, car shows. would also like to find a used system to save $$.

You can not go wrong with buying a set of headers from Kooks, ARH, or LG. Just get the matching x pipe from the header manufacture you go with.
All of them will show similiar gains if you compare the same primary and collector size.

Whatever headers you get, I highly suggest you have them Jet-Hot coated.

For your stated usage, a set of 1 3/4" pipes will be more than sufficient.
I just ordered a set of 321 titanium stainless steel 1 3/4" headers w/ catted 3"-2 1/2" xpipe from JW Motoring plus high-temp O2 extensions and was out the door for less than $1000 including shipping.
If you don't need cats, knock off $125.

I used the kooks 1 7/8 on my 08 vette with the non catted x pipe i bolted them in with a buddy the install took 45min and that was on the ground with no lift. they went in perfectly zero clearance issues. i think any of the above headers are all great i found the kooks the cheapest.

I would be more than happy to assist you with any questions you have about our products.

Keep in mind unless you specifically ask for our headers by themselves all of our kits include X pipes, and all necessary hardware, piping, and wiring to bolt the system onto your with no other modifications.

I posted on my headers from LPP as well. They were simply OUTSTANDING! Couldn't of went any better. Mufflers will be your next issue. What will you use??? Drone becomes an issue with ALL HEADERS depending on mufflers...

Good luck man

I would vote against kooks just because I thought the 2 slip fits to be a PITA. Next time I will be getting either ARH or LG's.

I have the NPP exhaust which I'd like to keep... are the Kooks compatible with my NPP exhaust without undue modifications?

Anyone else have this problem? I was leaning towards the Kooks until I read this post...

Thanks

Yes, I remember spending some time getting them. They were very tight
but great headers. I vote ARH or Kook's!

The kooks x pipe will work with the NPP exhaust. I have never had a slip connection not fit. Better to have a tight connection than a loose one.
