Anyone jumpimg on this bandwagon? I never have been a fan of superchargers for road racing, but I just might have to consider this unit! Very well thought out. I wonder why it's not available for the LS2? http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...gers/corvette/
It just came out & there will be a lot of interest as it fits under the stock vette hood. Probably most will be waiting to see the results of installs & opinions of the well regarded forum tuners.

Presently it is tooled for the LS3 - you can change your heads and then it's an immediate go.

We have a bone stock LS3, A6 at Edlebrock getting their charger -it is the first of the A6's. This will be their CARB unit and the results will be representative of what you, the consumer, can expect from an install in your garage - we are told they will be running 5-6 lbs of boost. Look for their results in about a month.
After Edlebrock is done we will install one of their "tuner" kits and we'll see how far we can move the numbers with in-house tuning and some methanol - stock pistons will undoubtedly keep us honest but I anticipate 8-9 lbs of boost and 600 RWHP.

Now we are talking. I like the idea of "at home installation"..Then getting a real tune done. There was a general discussion about Edlebrocks install instructions for the vette not out yet, and that there was no mention of pinning the crank pulley in their Mustang directions. I believe pinning the crank is a must on the LS applications? Right/Wrong...?

I believe in pinning the crank in even a cam swap so yeah, pin the crank.
Ok, that is a ways off. I've had all the parts for the L92 conversion sitting in my online shopping baskets now for a couple months, just been procrastinating.
I wonder how the numbers will compare. If there's little difference between an LS2 and LS3 with this kit, then it may not make sense to do the head swap. However, I am under the impression that NA gains carry over to FI fairly well. I am also curious what the kit does to an LS3 with a proper cam, since we know that's a bottleneck.
I hope they will come out with A LS2 Kit. It looks so much like our ZR1.
I wonder if the programmer will comport wit HP TUNERS. A big savings
under the Hood. I was looking at the one from Regan Racing. Its about
$8.000 bucks.
The 550/600 Engine HP would be only 480RWHP / 530 RWHP but I seemore for those who have Headers, CAM etc for starters. They are getting at least 150 RWHP over the base #s. If they come out with a UNIT for the LS2 I'm in.
We have several of them inbound now. They are the 599 kits, we will be making some changes to them. I will post them up when we are done and what mods are being done to them.
