I'm trying to keep my car as stealth as possible here in Kalifornia, so I want to paint my Fast 102 matte black to look as stock as possible. First I want to remove the logos which are bigger and even more eye-catching on the 102 than on previous models. I've heard from a reliable source that removing the logos doesn't always come out looking too good.
I have not done it but,,if you grind/sand it off and then lightly sand blast the area to textureize and blend in the texture look,,, and then paint it flat black, it will look stock.

I painted my FAST intake with Krylon Fusion satin black and think it matches the original pretty close. Seems to be sticking well but I am sure the catalyzed urethane automotive paints would be better.
As for removal, I have seen totally sanded manifolds with the logo removed that are painted. It takes a lot of time to get down in the cracks I would think.
