Do I need a tune, if I run a catless exhaust system?

Yes, headers need a tune. I would suggest high flow cats rather than catless.

good choice on going catless. you will get a CEL once you turn the car on however your tuner will tell the computer to ignore the error, you can then pass emissions because your computer will report no errors in the system (assuming you dont have a visual check)

I heard this form the guys at MarylandSpeed - what's up with the gas smell on off-road pipes? I'm ready to pull the trigger on mine but want some info on this supposed side-effect. Shouldn't all the "smell" be exiting the rear of the vehicle on properly installed exhaust systems?

I suppose if you're sitting with the vehicle idleing and there's a mild tailwind it could blow the exhaust back toward the car but why would my car smell like gas when driving? I feel like this is BS
