I'm sure LG offers the same set up as the Kooks . X-pipes come 3" to 3" or 3" to 2 1/2".

LG has rear pipes that go to 2.5" for stock mufflers.

LG super pro 1 7/8"s here.

If high RPM is your thing, 1 7/8 are available from all 3 top header vendors. Its not the big jump you think though. At 600rwhp, Powerlabs saw 6rwhp. I didnt have anything to compare the 1 7/8 because the new engine went in at the same time. All the manufacturers will tell you that super high power will benefit from a bigger primary for obvious reasons. I think H/C cars should have a 1 3/4.

I never even thought of that.

I had the LG's and LG does sell the 3" section to mate up to a 3" axle-back muffler system which I had.

Since the Z06 systems are available from all 3 of these companies, they will have pipes to mate to the Z06 size exhausts. They are interchangeable when you go from a 2.5 to 3" at a later date.

We don't just offer 3" systems. The Street Series offer a 2.5" mid section.

The S. Pro's give you a 3" mid, and it does neck down to 2.5" at those last few inches if you want to use stock mufflers on the car, or a stock replacement units. By doing a full 3" system to this point installing a 3" Z06 muffler kit is very simple by just changing the post X pipes to the Z06 units.

At any rate all of our headers work with any number of OEM, OEM replacement or larger mufflers.

Default Most Borla manufacturing is from China

I have ownerd both Borla headers and Borla header mufflers. The quality is poor as most manufacturing is done in China. I would not even consider them in the same class as American built Kooks or American Racing Headers.

If you are content with this level of quality, just buy one of the $300 Chinese headers from eBay.

That's funny because I have stood inside Borla, in Oxnard California and watched them being built.

Furthermore, we stand behind every header we make by including a million mile warranty. There is not a header manufacturer on the planet that stands behind the quality of their products to a greater extent than Borla.

If you have a problem with one of our products please hold us accountable and use our customer service department. Just call us and we'll take it from there. You won't be disappointed.

Cheers!

David Borla, my apologies. However, are they built in Oxnard, or Johnson City?
I would like to visit.
I appreciate your participation.

A side note....Just dealt with a busy and popular local coating shop. When I dropped my LG's Super Pro LT headers off to be coated, the shop owner commented on how nice a header it was. When I picked my headers up, again he came out and said how impressed he was with them and how well they were made. to LG.

When I was there they were still in Oxnard, and the R&D is still there as well as far as I know.

They moved to TN about a year ago.
