That makes sense, as when I ordered the 10" wheel they made sure to ask me a few times to make sure I was not planning on upgrading the brakes or running a big brake kit. They told me the 10" wheel won't work if I were planning on running larger brakes.

Didn't see the other pic showing the 62+ lbs - you are right - but CCW wheels are almost $3,000 new vs the ACE wheels $1100 - like all things it's all in what one wants to pay for.....

That seems small... but I tried some 295 and 305 combos w/ a 20 and nothing worked.
your best bet on a 20x11 would be a 305/30/20. It is only slightly larger diameter than stock and will fit nicely.

The only problem is that nobody really makes that size... at least as far as I can find. I'd like to run invo's too.

yes, there is a limited selection in that size but there are a few. Check out Toyo T1R's. They have a 305/30/20. Ive heard good things about these tires and they are reasonably priced on onlinetires.com. I think pirelli also makes a tire in this size.

Ah, nice, I'd been going to tirerack and discounttiresdirect... nice to have another option.

They're super cheap on Invos too! $850 for a set for a 19/20 set.

What about a ~317/35-18 on an 18x11 w/ a +75mm offset?

The guy posted above about his 325 tires fitting on an 11" wide wheel w/ a similar offset, but he's got alot of gap between the fender and the tire to decrease the odds of rubbing.

I'm about to pull the trigger on some 18x11 +75 OZ Aleggeritta wheels to run my MT ET Street II's on... I just don't want to rub It would cost the same price to send my factory front wheels to WeldCraft to have widened and I know those would fit fine, but I like the look and weight of the Aleggeritta wheels since I'd be going to Ultraleggeras for my street setup and they'd kind of match when I swapped the rears on.

If you're talking about mine, the wheels are stock sized(ht wise) 19R & 18F wheels mounted with stock size Z06 tires. The car has a Vortech S/C which puts an extra 60lbs or so on the nose and had the front raised up to stock height after the S/C install. So the car stance is right at stock heights and wheel well gappage. I dont want to lower it because the front underside drags enough up driveways and whatnot.

Yea, not knocking the height it sits at, just comparing it to my car that's lowered on cut rear bolts and all the way down on the fronts... if I have any poke it will hit the fender.

I just don't have the guts to try the 18x11 OZ's with the MT ET Streets... they might just barely fit, but if they don't, that's alot of money wasted when there's a perfectly good alternative for the same price since I have spare OEM front wheels laying around to have widened.

the 20x11's with the 285's should be fine though

285s are pretty small for 20x11s if they will even fit. The most common tire for that wheel is Pirelli Nero 305/30/zr20 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....R00N&tab=Sizes

Toyo also makes TR1s in that size.

285's would fit ok. They're compatible with an 11" rim, and if they're very slightly stretched, that would actually help me with clearance.

The 285/35/19s are approved for an 11" rim but the 285/30/20s that I've seen are only approved up to 10.5

Vossen wheels have the same offsets with 20x11 rears and I know there are lowered cars with 305s without trouble.

Yea, I just don't like the 305 selections that are available.

1010tires calculator hasn't lead me wrong before and it states it'd fit a 10-11" rim... with some of the crazy stretch that's popular these days, i'm sure a 285 would hold up fine. If there's something in a 305 that has matching fronts and is less than $900 for all 4 and good performance, I'd be interested though. It's hard to beat the Invos even if they're a few mm narrower.

It looks like they have a 305/25-20, but it's not listed for sale on any of the tire sites I use...

If you find that tire be careful with the front diameters since 305/25/20 is about 1" smaller.

If you go with Z06 size here is a link to mine I am running 275x35x18 front with a +64 offset and the rear are 325x30x19 with a +79 or +81 offset and as you can see I have no over hang. I also have the GM Z06 swaybars front and rear to handle the additional tire sizing and handeling performance. I have added the splitter and Z06 splash guards. I got the wheels from house of wheels and everything else from Gene Kelly all on the forum.
