I gained 65 rwhp off of Spin's cam. From 414 to 479 and then I added the intake bringing me up to 501.

Percentage wise you're right on target with my gains.

Man that's a low reading dyno! I think you'd be around 480 on most dynojets and even some Mustang dyno's. There's a popular Mustang dyno and Dyno Jet in my area that usually come in within 5-10hp of each other. Not all dyno's are calibrated the same, it's the before and after #'s that are important and you picked up a nice gain.

its just the dyno. We owned a mustang dyno and it read low as well which didn't make for happy customers. I would buy a dynojet next time around.

A dyno is just for tuning.

Take it to the track. Trap speed will tell you your actual horsepower.

My 06, with black wing, headers, and and VRX5 made 432/403

it was a 62 rwhp pick up. so the gain you got sounds normal.

I recently bought a car that already had the spin cam in it. With no baseline to compare, I am curious how this cam changes the power curves.
