t56 gears and mph
Anyone have a rough estimate of the t56 gearing for a c6 or c6 z06? What iam looking for is the mph breakdown for each gear, like 58mph 1st gear 2nd ? 3rd ? 4th ? 5th ? 6th ? I know tire height and final drive gear can change it some but considering stock height tires and stock 3.42 gears what would these be? Hopefully someone has these or can chime in

the c6 Z06 redlines at almost exactly 60 in first. The tranny ratios are
2.66
1.78
1.30
1.00

I'll let you calculate the redline speeds in the other gears using the "ratio of ratios"...
The non Z51 C6 has the same ratios, but turns 6500rpm instead of 7000, so first runs out at about 56 instead of 60, again, other speeds in gears are implied by the above ratios
the Z51 box is

2.07
1.43
1.00

.57
giving about 50 in first... and the rest follows

BTW, like bps999 said in his post, the Z06 and regular C6 have the same gearing, but the Z06 will go faster in each gear due to a higher redline.
