Default rear tires

[ i just ordered 305/30 19's for my 09 C6, they are the same tires used on the Z06 from what i understand. the tire dealer should have that info before you purchase. jerry

Yes, while they're not the exact replacement tire size they will work/fit.

Actually the C6 Z06 uses 325-30-19s on the rear.

Maybe they'll fit on the wheel but unless you buy the same tire in 255/35/18 at the same time for the front you will have problems with Active Handling and Traction control.

If you change rear diameter you must change front diameter also.

I ran 305/30-19 rear and 275/35-18 fronts on my C6 Coupe. No active handling problems. Some other folks have used the same rear and a 265/35-18 front and it works great also.

The 305 rear is a slightly smaller diameter and the speedometer is off about 1 mph. You can correct this with a tune, a hand held Predator tuner, or just not worry about it.

285/35-19 3.9" 13.4" 26.9" 84.4" 751/mi 60MPH 10000mi N/A
305/30-19 3.6" 13.1" 26.2" 82.3" 770/mi 61MPH 10248mi -2.4%
