clutch issues please help

clutch issues please help
my issue. car changes gears perfect but will not go in reverse. if i cut the car off it will go right in reverse. if i start the car up again with the clutch pedal on the floor car will start, but it feels like its trying to move at the same time. also very little pedal. anyone had this problem? any advice. this is my first m6 vette so i dont have any experience with this sort of problem. thanks for any help.

It's not normal that's for sure....all the Vette's I've owned have been stick shift. Sounds like the sensor. If you are moving forard, it will not allow a reverse shift until stopped. At least mine have been that way. You may need to have it checked. It sounds like the sensor has gone bad. Good luck....someone else chime in
