I have a 2005 coupe and will be installing a new climate control display unit. The seller says it will probably have to be "programmed" after installing.
Does anyone know what's involved in doing this?
How much might the programming cost if a dealer does it?
Thanks,
Tom

Program a climate control? Really? What has to be programmed?
I have NO idea.... but the receipt said install, & program....I'm ok working on the motor etc.. but when it comes to electronics.. I'm like a fish out of water... I'll pay, & have it done right...
You might be correct it might be Plug & Play.. but I'm going only by the receipt I got from the dealership...
Also I am under the impression you have to remove the console (where the radio is etc... & I can't deal w/that....

Okay, thanks. I am not aware of any programming that needs to be done.
Thanks for the info. My aftermarket seller says the unit might work out of the box but if it doesnt then it will need to be programmed by a dealer. Just ordred it and we'll see.......
