Joe why did you have to yank it? Just decided to go back to a C6 diff? I'll take that adapter off your hands if you're not using it anymore.
Hey Bill!
I blew my 3rd gear syncro again so I had to have the tranny rebuilt. I put the c5 rear back in, but I picked up a 3.42 diff for a good price as a spare and I was surprised how robust it looks compared to the c5.
In your case, now that C6 core prices are down, I'd just swap to a 06+ c6 diff. The revised trans rear plate is $450 or so and you have to swap over your reverse idler.
But if I ever go to the other diff, you have dibs on my adaptor!
Here are some pictures of my mount, still going strong 150 passes later.
what threads up into the part that connects to the dif? This design looks different then the one that you emailed me. I am building mine tomorrow so im just trying to figure everything out.

The diff mount (which I think is an automatic tranny mount with ears welded on to mount it to the differential) has bolt holes as you an see. Bolts go from underneath the cradle (through the welded panel which you also see) into the diff mount.
i have all the pfadt mounts in my 06. vibrations isn't bad. i can leave my keys in the cup holder and they dont vibrate. oh, and im not a (*meow*). lol
Here is the mount I made but I am going to have to revise it as I am getting vibration st 2500 rpms and up. I think I need rubber in between the dif and the bracket.
