Differentials Explained

A friend sent this to me, I thought I'd share....it is the best explanation of exactly how a differential works for those that don't know....amazingly enough, this video was made in 1937!

Great explanation of how a live axle diff works.

Anything on a limited slip? Either torque sensing or clutch type?

I really enjoyed this video. Kinda miss the old time infomercials. Seems things were explained in a more easily understood manner. At least for me.

Does any one remember the science program about the Sun in the late 50's?

Thanks a lot Craigster for posting that video. I never knew how differentials worked. That video was amazingly clear and detailed for the 1930's.

A modern computer graphical video would be no better I think.
